About This Blog

The odds of anyone stumbling upon this shabby blog are beyond slim. But I'm writing this nonetheless.

What It Does:

  • Fetches data from my Notion and parses it into a blog formatted in Markdown style.
  • Comes with a responsive design and dark mode support.
  • Highlights code blocks where needed and renders a table of contents.
  • Fetches and parses based on locale.

What It Doesn't Do:

  • No user signup system.
  • No support for media-heavy content.
  • No "like" or "share" functionality.

What I Might Add:

  • Fuzzy full-text search.
  • More layouts for different post types.

Tech Stack In Use:

TypeScript – For type safety.
Next.js – A full-stack React framework that handles the heavy lifting. As you can imagine, with great ability comes a steep learning curve and a mountain of trade-offs.
Tailwind CSS – For styling and responsive design.
Notion – Used as a headless CMS.

There are posts under the "Building This Blog" topic that go into more details.
Feel free to browse if you're curious. If you don't see any, I'm probably still writing them.
If you notice anything off or just want to leave a message, I'd love to hear from you.
